kind of gave me inspiration. it would have been more abstract if i had something to do with it though.
if you like indie-rock music. you will understand why this is one of my favorite albums of 2009. Dirty Projectors delivered a 5 Star Meal with the album Bitte Orca. they are compared to Grizzly Bear. i caught on to them a little late but better late than never. my girlfriend says it sounds like "crackhead music" but i cant explain how good it feels. its an "acquired taste" to some. its raw. it feels like you are there when they are recording it. random hits in the beats. sometimes off beat. just what i need for an unstable lifestyle.
when you have burdens that weigh a ton of torment, are you able to transfer this into an abundant life of happiness? depression is mental. everything is. your MENTAL is what is disturbed when hurt by certain things which causes you to come out different than the way you went in. the hardest part of it is remembering who you were before the damage was done. that is what links you back to being sane. back to being the "same". depression is a one-way focus on negativity. focusing on positive attributes about yourself is a way to surpass this mountain of tribulation. a depressed soul is a soul that is just striving for happiness but doesn't know exactly how to get there.
cant wait to have you in my arms. i dont know how to use you yet but we will make this thing work. i promise. cant wait to meet you shawty.
this will make my 19th bday complete (dec. 27)

its almost 2010. none of us are original. the years of originality are far behind us and we dont even know exactly when it started. now, we recycle and reuse things that we have seen n call it our "own". we may add a little of our own character to it but it is still not new, innovative, or "original". we have to remember that it all started somewhere but not with us. it kind of bothers me that we are ok with this. we are ok with just following trends and doing what everyone else is doing. sometimes not being ourselves and trying to be who we see on tv or our peers. whether it is our style of dress, our attitudes, or the way we talk. how hard is it to be REAL and be who you really are? that to me will bring originality back because no one person is exactly like another. i too am a victim of following at times. we all are. now thats real.
